Gujarat govt reviews roadmap for hosting 2030 Commonwealth Games

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has moved a step further in its preparations for a possible bid to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi said a meeting of the proposed board of directors of the Games’ organising company was held to review the roadmap, planning and coordination needed for hosting the international sporting event.
Sharing the update on X, Sanghavi described the meeting as “A significant step towards bringing the Commonwealth Games 2030 to Gujarat.”
“Attended the meeting of the proposed Board of Directors of the Organising Company to discuss the roadmap, planning, and collaborative efforts required for hosting this prestigious global sporting event,” he wrote.
He added that the initiative aims to develop world-class sporting infrastructure while creating greater opportunities for athletes. DeshGujarat
