Which Places in Gujarat Might Get Rain During Next 7 Days? Here’s IMD Forecast

Ahemdabad: If you wish to know which districts of Gujarat will receive rainfall and where the weather will remain dry over the next seven days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh forecast valid until July 16. In a relieving piece of news, there is currently no alert for heavy rainfall in the state; however, spells of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms may continue in several districts.

According to the IMD, light to moderate rainfall is likely on July 10–11. Light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in all the districts of Gujarat.

On July 12, light rain may lash the districts of Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath.

On July 13–14, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, along with Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath may receive light to moderate rain.

On July 15 & 16, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in the districts of Narmada, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath.

Notably, the weather is likely to remain dry from July 12 across most parts of North and Central Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Patan, Mehsana, along with Kutch. The IMD has not issued any warnings regarding heavy rainfall, very heavy rainfall, or thunderstorms for the next seven days. The Meteorological Department states that no significant change in the weather is expected between July 16 and July 18 either.
