Gujarat Weather: Monsoon Lull to Continue, No Heavy Rain Alert Till July 19

Surat: The monsoon, which already arrived late, seems to have taken a break from the state as there has been no significant rainfall in Gujarat. Looking ahead, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a week of largely light to moderate rainfall, with no alert for heavy rain in any district till July 19.

According to the IMD, light rain may lash the districts of Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath till July 14, while the rest of the state may witness dry weather.

On July 15, apart from the above-mentioned places, rain may spread to Aravalli, Mahisagar, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Anand, Porbandar, and Rajkot.
