Ahmedabad Airport Issues Travel Advisory Ahead of Rath Yatra

Ahmedabad: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport in the city has issued a travel advisory for passengers ahead of the 149th Rath Yatra of Bhagwan Jagannath on July 16, urging them to plan their journey to the airport in advance due to expected road closures and traffic diversions across parts of the city.
In the advisory, the airport said, “In view of the Rath Yatra procession on 16 July 2026, road closures and traffic diversions are expected across parts of Ahmedabad during the day. Passengers travelling through Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport are requested to plan their commute early, keep extra time for road travel, and organise onward transport in advance.”
