Free 30-Day Residential Pre-Defence Training for Army Aspirants in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: The Assistant Director of Employment, Ahmedabad, will organise a 30-day residential training programme for male candidates aspiring to join the Armed Forces under the Swami Vivekananda Pre-Defence Residential Training Class Scheme.
The programme aims to prepare eligible youth from Gujarat for recruitment into the Army, Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary Forces and Police through intensive physical, mental and written examination training. Accommodation and meals will be provided free of cost.
Eligible candidates should meet the prescribed physical standards, including a minimum height of 168 cm, weight of 50 kg and chest measurement of 77–82 cm. Candidates must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 and fall within the prescribed age limit of 17.5 to 22 years, as applicable for the recruitment.
Candidates who successfully complete the training will also receive a government stipend as per the applicable rules.
