Ahmedabad Hottest in Gujarat at 36.4°C Amid Cloudy Skies

Ahmedabad: The city remained mostly cloudy on Sunday, with light rain reported in the evening. According to the State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC), Ahmedabad received 1 mm of rainfall till 8 pm.
The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Ahmedabad at 36.4°C, which was 2.7 degrees above normal. It was followed by 36.0°C in Kandla, 35.4°C in Deesa and 35.3°C in Surendranagar.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a generally cloudy sky for Monday as well, with the possibility of a few spells of rain during the day.
According to the IMD, the maximum temperature was 34.8°C in Vadodara, 34.7°C in Bhavnagar, 34.6°C in Bhuj, 34.4°C in Gandhinagar and 34.3°C in Rajkot.
Due to rainy conditions in South Gujarat, temperatures remained comparatively lower. The maximum temperature was 30.9°C in Surat, 31.3°C in Amreli, 31.2°C in Dwarka, 31.6°C in Veraval and 29.8°C in Daman.
As for the minimum temperature, the highest was recorded in Deesa at 28.3°C. It was followed by 27.9°C in Kandla, 27.5°C in Dwarka, 27.2°C in Porbandar, 27.0°C in Vadodara, Naliya and Okha, and 26.1°C in Ahmedabad.
Morning humidity levels remained above 80% in most parts of the state. Surat and Daman recorded the highest relative humidity at 98%, indicating very humid conditions. DeshGujarat
