Gujarat Govt Transfers 28 IAS Officers

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government on Tuesday carried out a major administrative reshuffle in the IAS cadre, transferring and appointing 28 officers across key departments, district administrations, municipal corporations and state public sector undertakings.

Here is the list of IAS officers transferred as per the General Administration Department of the state government:

Gaurangbhai H. Makwana, IAS (RR:GJ:2012), Director, Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA), Gandhinagar (who also holds the additional charge of Managing Director, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (UGVCL), Mehsana), is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Energy and Petrochemicals Department for appointment as Managing Director, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (UGVCL), Mehsana.

Prabhav Joshi, IAS (RR:GJ:2014), Municipal Commissioner, Junagadh Municipal Corporation, Junagadh, is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Industries and Mines Department for appointment as Joint Managing Director, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), Gandhinagar.

H. J. Prajapati, IAS (SCS:GJ:2018), Municipal Commissioner, Porbandar Municipal Corporation, Porbandar, is transferred and appointed as District Development Officer, Amreli, relieving K. J. Jadeja, GAS (Senior Scale), of the additional charge of that post.
