2.19 lakh cusecs outflow at Damanganga dam

Surat: Damanganga dam in South Gujarat is witnessing heavy inflow and outflow following continuous very heavy rainfall in catchment areas.
At 10 am on July 23 today, inflow at Damanganga was over 2.53 lakh cusecs, while outflow was over 2.19 lakh cusecs. 10 gates of dam were open in 4.80 meters measurement. Against 525 MCM designed storage, the dam has 354 MCM water which is 67.43% of its capacity. Against rule level 101.50 m, the present level was 95.60 m. DeshGujarat
