Heavy rains disrupt several Surat BRTS and city bus routes

Surat: Heavy rainfall and waterlogging have disrupted operations on nine Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC)-run BRTS and city bus routes, including seven BRTS and two city bus services.
According to the SMC, the following routes have been temporarily suspended due to waterlogging:
BRTS routes
- Route 11 (Udhana–Sachin): Waterlogging near Bhagvati Industrial Estate and Navin Fluorine.
- Route 16 (Kosad–Sachin): Waterlogging at Magob-Parvat Khadi, Navin Fluorine and Bhagvati Industrial Estate.
- Route 13 (Kadodara–Jahangirpura) and Route 19 (Kadodara–Railway Station): Waterlogging at Vareli Gam, Antroli Gam and Puna Patiya.
- Routes 15AC and 15C (Althan Depot Loop): Waterlogging at Magob-Parvat Khadi.
- Route 18 (Surat Railway Station–Utran ROB) and Route 22 (Kosad–Sarthana): Services suspended as buses could not leave the depot due to waterlogging outside.
City bus routes
- Route 504 (Amazia Amusement–Bhestan Garden): Suspended due to waterlogging at Bhestan Awas.
- Route 413 (Nilgiri Circle–Sarthana): Suspended due to waterlogging at Kumbhariya Gam. DeshGujarat
