Ahmedabad Viramgam Highway Reopens but Not for All Vehicles

Ahmedabad: The highway connecting the city of Ahmedabad to Viramgam via Sanand was declared reopened today evening by the District Police.
The highway which connects Ahmedabad to Viramgam which further connects Ahmedabad to Surendranagar and Kutch districts was shut late last evening due to overtopping of flood water and waterlogging following heavy to very heavy rainfall.
According to the District Police, the highway is reopened today evening within less than 24 hours for traffic. However two-wheelers are yet not allowed on reopened highway yet, the Police further added. DeshGujarat
