July 27, 2026
Ahmedabad: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles on Monday said operations at its Sanand manufacturing plant and several supplier facilities in and around Gujarat have been temporarily disrupted due to flooding caused by heavy rainfall.
In a regulatory filing submitted on Monday under SEBI’s Listing Regulations, the company said the disruption has also affected the facilities of its suppliers in and around Gujarat. The Sanand plant manufactures the Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, and Sierra passenger vehicle models.
The company said concerted efforts are underway to restore production at both its own manufacturing facility and supplier units on a priority basis. Tata Motors expressed confidence that normal operations will resume over the next few days.
The company has not yet assessed the financial impact of the disruption. However, it said an adequate insurance policy covering floods and other natural calamities is in place. DeshGujarat
