IndiGo Dubai-Mumbai Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Rajkot Airport

Rajkot: An IndiGo flight (IGO1452) from Dubai to Mumbai made an emergency landing at Rajkot International Airport on Monday after smoke was reportedly detected in the cargo compartment. The pilot diverted the flight to Rajkot in a timely manner, due to which all passengers remained safe.
According to the information received, the flight took off from Dubai Airport at 11:19 am, while its scheduled departure time was 11:30 am. After a flight of about 2 hours and 37 minutes, it landed safely at Rajkot International Airport at 3:26 pm.
As per reports, a total of 194 passengers, including crew members, were on board the flight. During the flight, there was panic among the passengers for some time after a warning about smoke in the aircraft’s cargo compartment was received.
However, the flight made a safe emergency landing at Rajkot due to the quick action of the pilot and the airport authorities. It is learnt that all 194 passengers were safe in the incident. DeshGujarat
