GPSC Prelims Exam Rescheduled for Aug 1 After Earlier Postponement
July 29, 2026
Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has rescheduled the Combined General Studies Preliminary Examination for 34 recruitment advertisements to August 1, after it was postponed from its earlier date of July 26.
In an official notification, the commission said there will be no change in the examination centres, and candidates can appear for the exam using the admit cards already issued.
GPSC also said the instructions issued on July 13 regarding the downloading of admit cards and submission of the mandatory undertaking for candidates appearing in multiple examinations will remain applicable.
Candidates who had already downloaded their admit cards for the July 26 examination do not need to download them again, as the same admit cards will be valid for the August 1 exam. Those who have not yet downloaded their admit cards can do so between July 28 and the examination date. The commission has clarified that no fresh admit cards will be issued. DeshGujarat
