HyFun Foods to Expand Gujarat Operations with ₹1,000 Crore Mehsana Plant

Ahmedabad: Frozen potato products manufacturer and exporter HyFun Foods plans to invest ₹1,500 crore to expand its manufacturing capacity by setting up new production facilities in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, as it looks to strengthen both its export business and domestic market presence.

HyFun Foods Managing Director and Group CEO Haresh Karamchandani said the company is expanding its production capacity while also ensuring adequate availability of raw potatoes to support future growth.

As part of the expansion, the company is setting up a greenfield manufacturing facility near Ahmedabad in Mehsana with an investment of around ₹1,000 crore. The new plant is expected to become operational by January 2027.

In addition, HyFun Foods is planning another greenfield manufacturing unit in Madhya Pradesh, which will involve an investment of around ₹500 crore.

The company currently operates five manufacturing units in Gujarat and is expanding its footprint to meet growing demand in both domestic and international markets. DeshGujarat
