In Pictures: Upcoming Bharuch Bullet Train Station to Feature Cotton Weaving-Inspired Design

Bharuch: Construction of the Bharuch Bullet Train station is progressing, with major structural work completed and architectural finishing currently underway, the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) said.

The station is equipped with modern passenger amenities like waiting lounge, nursery, restrooms, retail outlets etc. Multiple lifts and escalators are being installed for smooth movement across different levels with special attention to the needs of elderly, differently abled and families with children. Passenger pick & drop off and parking facility are planned adjacent to station building for cars, two wheelers, autos & buses along with pedestrian plaza space.

The station is directly connected to SH-06 (Bharuch – Dahej Highway). It also provides convenient access to the Mumbai–Delhi Expressway, which is located just 4 km away. The nearest railway station is Bharuch railway station, located approximately 7 km from the Bullet Train station.

Station building comprises of two levels:

• Ground Level
• Platform Level: Two side platforms

Station Progress

Rail and platform slab casting work and structural steel erection along with roof sheeting work is completed. Architectural finishing works like façade works, platform flooring etc. are currently in progress. DeshGujarat
