MSU Baroda Suspends Classes, Exams on July 31 Amid Heavy Rain Alert

Vadodara: The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) has suspended all academic and allied activities on Friday, July 31, 2026, in view of the heavy rainfall forecast for Vadodara and the holiday declared by the Collector and District Magistrate.
The MSU, in a statement, said, “The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has suspended all academic and allied activities on Friday, 31 July 2026, following the heavy rainfall forecast for Vadodara and the notification issued by the Collector & District Magistrate. All academic, administrative, examination, and other university activities across all campuses and offices will remain suspended to ensure the safety of students, faculty, staff, and all stakeholders. Any examinations or scheduled activities on this date stand cancelled, and revised dates will be announced by the respective authorities in due course. All concerned are requested to take note and act accordingly.” DeshGujarat
