Ahmedabad–Viramgam Rail Section Block to Affect Train Services Today

Ahmedabad: Train services on the Ahmedabad–Viramgam section will be affected due to a traffic block being undertaken for the commissioning of the Automatic Signalling System between Sanand and Jakhwada stations.

According to the railway authorities, the block will affect the operation of several trains under Rajkot Division. One train has been fully cancelled, while five others will operate with changes in their scheduled stoppages.

The 22959/22960 Vadodara–Jamnagar–Vadodara Intercity Express will remain fully cancelled for its journey commencing on August 8, 2026.

For the journey commencing on August 7, the train will not halt at Chandlodiya, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Than Junction, Wankaner Junction, Rajkot Junction, Bhaktinagar, Gondal, Virpur and Navagadh stations.

22926 Okha–Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express
For the journey commencing on August 8, the train will not halt at Sanand and Sabarmati stations.

19119 Gandhinagar Capital–Veraval Intercity Express
For the journey commencing on August 8, the train will not halt at Chandlodiya and Ambli Road stations.

19120 Veraval–Gandhinagar Capital Intercity Express
For the journey commencing on August 8, the train will not halt at Chandlodiya and Ambli Road stations.

11465 Veraval–Jabalpur Express
For the journey commencing on August 8, the train will not halt at Chandlodiya, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Than Junction, Wankaner Junction, Rajkot Junction, Bhaktinagar, Gondal, Virpur and Navagadh stations.
