Block at Valsad Railway Station from Aug 21-23: Several Trains to Be Cancelled, Short-Terminated

Valsad: Train services on the Valsad section will be affected from August 21 to 23 due to a Non-Interlocking (NI) block being undertaken for the commissioning of Electronic Interlocking at Valsad railway station.

The block will be in place from 10 am on Friday, August 21, to 3:30 pm on Sunday, August 23, on the UP and DN main lines. As a result, several trains will be cancelled, short-terminated or short-originated, with some services partially cancelled on affected sections.

Among the affected services, Train No. 12930 BRC–BL will be short-terminated at Billimora on August 21 and 22, with services cancelled between Billimora and Valsad. Train No. 59046 BL–VR will be short-originated from Udhvada, resulting in cancellation between Valsad and Udhvada.

On August 22, Train No. 19012 DHD–BL will be short-terminated at Udhna, while Train No. 20960 VDG–BL will terminate at Navsari, with the respective sections towards Valsad cancelled. Train No. 12944 CNB–BL will also be short-terminated at Bhestan, with services cancelled between Bhestan and Valsad.

Several services will also be affected on August 23. These include Train Nos. 20959 BL–VDG, 12929 BL–BRC, 69151 BL–ST, 19011 BL–DHD and 04120 BL–Subedarganj, which will be short-originated from different stations, resulting in partial cancellation on sections towards Valsad.

In addition, Train Nos. 19055 BDTS–UDN, 20996 BDTS–AII, 69153 UBR–BL and 22929 DRD–BRC will remain fully cancelled on August 23. Other services, including Train No. 69152 ST–BL MEMU and Train No. 04119 Subedarganj–BL, will also be short-terminated.

The Railways has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers due to the block. DeshGujarat
