Several Trains Cancelled, Diverted Due to Signalling Work on Ahmedabad – Palanpur Section

Ahmedabad: Several train services on the Ahmedabad-Palanpur section will be affected due to the commissioning of the Automatic Signalling System between Ambaliyasan, Jagudan, Mahesana and Bhandu Motidau, along with a Non-Interlocking (NI) block.

As part of the work, several trains will be cancelled, partially cancelled or diverted on August 13 and 14, 2026.

Partially Cancelled Trains

Some services will be partially cancelled on specific sections:

14822 Sabarmati–Jodhpur Express: On August 14, the service will remain partially cancelled between Sabarmati and Abu Road.

14821 Jodhpur–Sabarmati Express: On August 13, the service will remain partially cancelled between Abu Road and Sabarmati.

20959 Valsad–Vadnagar Intercity Express: On August 14, the service will remain partially cancelled between Gandhinagar Capital and Vadnagar.

20960 Vadnagar–Valsad Intercity Express: On August 14, the service will remain partially cancelled between Vadnagar and Gandhinagar Capital.

Trains to Run on Diverted Routes

Several long-distance trains will also operate through diverted routes during the signalling work.

20486 Sabarmati BG–Jaisalmer Intercity Express: August 14 — diverted via Sabarmati BG–Kalol–Katosan Road–Mahesana.

04173 Prayagraj–Veraval Special: August 13 — diverted via Palanpur–Bhildi–Mahesana–Viramgam.

14807 Jodhpur–Dadar Express: August 14 — diverted via Mahesana–Katosan Road–Kalol–Sabarmati BG.

19408 Lalgarh–Sabarmati BG Express: August 13 — diverted via Mahesana–Katosan Road–Kalol–Sabarmati BG.

20626 Bhagat Ki Kothi–MGR Chennai Central Express: August 14 — diverted via Mahesana–Katosan Road–Kalol.

19031 Sabarmati BG–Yog Nagari Rishikesh Yoga Express: August 14 — diverted via Sabarmati BG–Kalol–Katosan Road–Mahesana–Patan–Bhildi–Palanpur. Siddhpur and Unjha stops will be withdrawn.

19032 Yog Nagari Rishikesh–Sabarmati BG Yoga Express: August 13 — diverted via Palanpur–Bhildi–Patan–Mahesana–Katosan Road–Kalol–Sabarmati BG. Siddhpur and Unjha stops will be withdrawn.

19412 Daulatpur Chowk–Gandhinagar Capital Express: August 13 — diverted via Palanpur–Bhildi–Patan–Mahesana–Katosan Road–Kalol–Gandhinagar Capital. Siddhpur and Unjha stops will be withdrawn.

Passengers travelling on these routes are advised to check their train status and revised routes before starting their journey, as the changes are being made in connection with the signalling work.
