70% Redevelopment Work Completed at Chandlodia A and B Railway Stations

Ahmedabad: Around 70% of the redevelopment work at Chandlodia A and B railway stations under Western Railway has been completed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
The stations are being modernised at a cost of Rs 45.72 crore, with a focus on improving passenger facilities and overall station infrastructure.
The redevelopment includes a new station building, a wide foot overbridge/air concourse, lifts and Divyangjan-friendly facilities, along with improved parking and circulating areas.
Passengers will also get a modern waiting lounge and holding area, as well as coach guidance and passenger information systems.
According to the railway authorities, the remaining work is targeted for completion by March 31, 2027. DeshGujarat
