Ahmedabad BRTS Announces Route Changes for Eid Procession

Ahmedabad: Several Ahmedabad BRTS routes will be partially diverted on Wednesday, August 26, in view of the Eid-e-Milad procession. The changes will come into effect from 2 pm and remain in place until the procession concludes or further instructions are issued by the police.

According to the Ahmedabad BRTS authorities, commuters have been advised to take note of the route changes and cooperate with the traffic and transport arrangements.

Routes to be partially diverted

Route 02: Odhav S.P. Ring Road–ISKCON Cross Road service will instead operate between ISKCON Cross Road and Law Garden.

Route 09: Maninagar–Gota Vasantnagar Township service will instead operate between Gota Vasantnagar Township and L.D. Engineering College.

Route 11: Odhav S.P. Ring Road–L.D. Engineering College service will instead operate between Odhav S.P. Ring Road and Astodia Darwaja.

Routes to operate as usual

The following BRTS routes will continue to operate normally:

• Route 01: Maninagar–Ghuma Village
• Route 03: RTO Circle–Maninagar
• Route 04: L.D. Engineering College–Jundal Circle/Amba Township
• Route 05: Vasna–Hanspura Ring Road
• Route 06: Narol–Naroda S.T. Workshop
• Route 07: Jundal Circle–Government Litho Press / Narol–Saraspur Darwaja
• Route 08: Bhadaj Circle–Naroda Village
• Route 10: RTO Circle
• Route 12: RTO Circle–Rabari Colony
• Route 14: Sanand Circle–Saraspur Darwaja
• Route 15: ISKCON Cross Road–RTO Circle/Airport
• Route 16: Sanand Circle–Nehru Nagar
• Route 17: South Bopal Terminus–Nehru Nagar

BRTS stations where bus operations will remain suspended

Bus operations will remain suspended at the following BRTS stations/cabins during the procession:

1. Astodia Chakla
2. Municipal Corporation Office
3. Raikhad Char Rasta
4. Lokmanya Tilak Bagh
5. M.J. Library

The BRTS authorities have urged commuters to plan their journeys accordingly and cooperate with the arrangements made for the procession. DeshGujarat
