Stray Cattle Menace: Bull Gores Man to Death in Dholka GIDC

Dholka: A 50-year-old man was killed after a stray bull attacked and gored him in the Dholka GIDC area at night, triggering fear among local residents over the growing stray cattle menace.
The deceased, Rajiv Ratan Ramkhilavan, originally from Uttar Pradesh and currently residing in Dholka, was returning home from work when the bull suddenly attacked him.
According to details, the bull struck the man with its horns and repeatedly tossed him into the air. He suffered serious injuries to his head, chest and private parts and reportedly bled heavily. He died on the spot.

People gathered at the scene after the attack but were unable to intervene as the bull continued to pose a threat. A tractor driver eventually chased the animal away, but by then the man had sustained critical injuries.
A video of the incident has surfaced, showing the bull attacking the man and the subsequent efforts to drive the animal away.
The deceased’s body was taken to a health centre for a postmortem examination. Police have registered a case of accidental death and initiated further proceedings.
The incident has raised concerns among residents of the Dholka GIDC area, where stray cattle are reportedly creating fear among people, particularly at night.
Locals have demanded that the municipality intensify its cattle-catching drive and take immediate steps to prevent such incidents. DeshGujarat
