PM Modi to visit Gujarat on Sept 8; Vadodara, Navsari on itinerary

Navsari: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit his home state of Gujarat on September 8, with programmes planned in Vadodara and Navsari.

According to the tentative travel schedule, PM Modi will arrive at Vadodara Airport at around 12 noon on September 8. From there, he will proceed to Vadodara University Ground, where various development works are scheduled to be inaugurated and launched by him. He will also address a public meeting at the venue.

After completing his engagements in Vadodara, PM Modi is scheduled to travel to Navsari by helicopter at around 3 pm. In Navsari, he will inaugurate the district BJP’s new office, ‘Namo Kamalam’.

He is scheduled to leave the Navsari helipad for Surat after 4 pm and depart from Surat for Mumbai later.

Union Minister and Navsari Lok Sabha MP CR Patil held a meeting with ministers, party organisation office-bearers and officials on Saturday to review preparations and arrangements for PM Modi’s visit.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi also reached Vadodara on Saturday evening to review preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit. Sanghvi visited the programme venue and held a meeting at the Circuit House with the Vadodara MP, city BJP president, MLAs and senior government officials.
