Air India Express set to start Surat – Navi Mumbai flight under Winter Schedule 2026

Surat: Surat is set to get another addition to its air connectivity, with Air India Express expected to start a direct flight between Navi Mumbai and Surat from the upcoming winter schedule, beginning October 25.

Air India Express is expected to operate the Navi Mumbai–Surat–Navi Mumbai service daily. As per the schedule currently available online, flight IX 1534 will depart from Navi Mumbai International Airport at 5:00 am and arrive at Surat Airport at 5:55 am.

The return flight, IX 1535, is scheduled to depart from Surat at 11:15 pm and reach Navi Mumbai at 12:10 am the following day. Both flights are shown as non-stop services, with a flying time of around 55 minutes.

Bookings for the service are already available online ahead of the winter schedule, which comes into effect on October 25, through the airline and other flight-booking platforms.

Aviation experts believe the new route could also fit into Air India Express’ hub-and-spoke strategy, potentially giving passengers from Surat access to onward domestic and international destinations through Navi Mumbai International Airport.
