₹1,840 Crore NHAI Projects to Be Launched by PM Modi in Gujarat

Vadodara: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) projects worth ₹1,840.55 crore during his Gujarat visit on September 8.

The projects include major infrastructure works on key highway stretches in south Gujarat, aimed at improving connectivity and easing traffic movement.

Among the major projects is the construction of structures, including major bridges over the Tapi and Narmada rivers, on the Vadodara-Surat section of NH-48. The project has been taken up at a cost of ₹907.39 crore.

A six-lane carriageway on the Kamrej-Chalthan section will also be inaugurated. The project has been developed at a cost of ₹686.15 crore.

The package also includes grade-separated structures at Abhva, Mindhola and Khajod junctions on NH-53, involving an investment of ₹187.11 crore.

In addition, a six-lane flyover constructed at Kandari Chowkdi and Luvara Patiya on NH-48 at a cost of ₹59.90 crore will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
