Gujarat gets two new Radisson hotels

Ahmedabad: Radisson Hotel Group, in collaboration with NILE Hospitality, has strengthened its presence in Gujarat with the launch of Radisson Resort & Spa Sasan Gir and Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Rajkot. With the two new properties, the partnership now operates five hotels across Gujarat, spanning Kandla, Gandhinagar, Navsari, Sasan Gir and Rajkot.
Radisson Resort & Spa Sasan Gir offers 122 rooms, comprising Standard Rooms, Superior Rooms and Executive Suites. Situated close to Gir National Park and overlooking the Madhuvanti Dam, the resort features an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, wellness facilities and spaces designed for leisure and group travellers.
The property also has more than 1,64,250 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space, including the 6,250 sq. ft. Gir Ballroom and four lawns. Its dining options include Roots, a 230-cover vegetarian all-day dining restaurant, along with a tea lounge.
In Rajkot, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Rajkot has 54 rooms and suites. The property includes The Golden Spice, a 72-cover vegetarian all-day dining restaurant, The Deli tea lounge and Virasat, a 2,000 sq. ft. banquet hall with a 600 sq. ft. pre-function area.
Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said the company is expanding into leisure destinations, emerging urban centres and Tier II and Tier III markets as India’s hospitality sector continues to evolve.
He said the two new properties reflect the group’s strategy of bringing destination-specific offerings to markets with strong growth potential.
