Live: PM Modi in Vadodara to Launch Development Projects Worth ₹35,000 Crore

Vadodara: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in Gujarat’s Vadodara, where he is inaugurating, dedicating and laying the foundation stones for various development projects worth more than ₹35,000 crore.

The Prime Minister is dedicating three key sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC), covering 326 route kilometres and developed at a cost of over ₹20,700 crore. The sections include Sanand (N)-Makarpura, New Umbergaon-New Saphale and New Saphale-JNPT.

He is also flagging off freight train services from New Sanand (North), New Makarpura, New Umbergaon and New JNPT, Mumbai, along with a new train service between Vadodara and Tanda Road.

PM Modi is dedicating the Jobat-Tanda Road new rail line, connecting remote and tribal areas of Alirajpur with the national rail network.

The Prime Minister is also laying the foundation stones for three railway projects spanning 329 km and costing over ₹9,700 crore, along with three National Highway projects worth around ₹1,780 crore.

In addition, he is inaugurating two six-lane flyovers on the Vadodara-Surat section of NH-48 and launching various Gujarat government projects worth around ₹2,600 crore, including urban infrastructure, housing and water-supply projects.
