Live: PM Modi in Navsari inaugurates new ‘Namo Kamalam’ BJP office

Surat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the BJP’s newly built ‘Namo Kamalam’ office in Navsari, which has been projected as the country’s first AI-based BJP organisational office.

Modi arrived in Navsari by helicopter around 3 pm after completing his visit to Vadodara. He later left for Mumbai from Surat airport around 5 pm.

Following the inauguration, the Prime Minister addressed a gathering of around 6,000 people at a ground near the office.

The state-of-the-art office, located on the Navsari highway, is spread across 40,000 sq. ft. and has been equipped with advanced technology.

Navsari BJP president Bhuralal Shah said the office would use the latest technology, including AI, high-speed internet and computers, to improve public outreach and access to information.

The office is equipped with data related to government schemes, Navsari villages and government offices, which the BJP said would help its organisation serve people more effectively.

Elaborate arrangements were made at the Namo Kamalam premises and surrounding areas for the Prime Minister’s visit. As the complex is located adjacent to the national highway, extensive security arrangements were also put in place.

The BJP had organised a traditional welcome for Modi. Around 1,100 women dressed in traditional attire welcomed him with ceremonial kalash, while nearly 500 men played damrus. Another group of around 30 women performed with dhol-tasha instruments inside the Namo Kamalam premises. DeshGujarat
