Ahmedabad Police Bust Prostitution Racket at Odhav Spa, Manager Held

Ahmedabad: The Odhav police have busted an alleged prostitution racket operating from Big Daddy International Spa on SP Ring Road and arrested the spa manager. Police said three women from Tripura were allegedly brought to the city and kept at the spa for prostitution, with customers allegedly being charged ₹2,000 to ₹3,000.

Acting on a tip-off that women from outside Gujarat were being brought to the spa for prostitution, the police sent a dummy customer to verify the information. The dummy customer was given ₹2,000 and sent to the spa. After he informed the police team that the alleged activity was taking place, officers raided the premises.

During the raid and subsequent investigation, police found eight separate rooms at the spa. The manager, identified as Lalshankar Damor, originally from Rajasthan, was questioned by the police. He reportedly told investigators that he had been working as the spa manager for about a month.

Police also found three women from Tripura at the premises. During questioning, the women reportedly told police that they had been brought to the spa and were being paid ₹20,000 per month.

According to the police, the owner of the spa has been identified as Pranav Subhashbhai Bhavsar, a resident of Shyam Villa Green near Hari Darshan Char Rasta in Naroda. Police said Bhavsar used to work at the spa from 2 pm to 10 pm and allegedly paid the women ₹20,000 per month.
