Surat Crime Branch Fires at History-Sheeter Trying to Flee, Accused Injured

Surat: The Surat Crime Branch fired a bullet at wanted history-sheeter Jayesh alias Barku Patil while he was allegedly trying to flee. Patil sustained a bullet injury to his leg and was taken to Surat Civil Hospital for treatment.
According to police, Patil attempted to escape, following which an officer fired a round from a service weapon, hitting him in the leg.
