Western Railway to Run Bandra Terminus-Bhavnagar Special Trains for Paryushan

Mumbai: To meet additional travel demand during the Paryushan Festival and ensure passenger convenience, Western Railway will operate a special train between Bandra Terminus and Bhavnagar Terminus in Gujarat on September 15 and 16 to facilitate passenger travel.

Train No. 09023, Bandra Terminus–Bhavnagar Terminus Special, will depart from Bandra Terminus at 7:25 pm on Tuesday, September 15, and arrive at Bhavnagar Terminus at 10:30 am the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 09024, Bhavnagar Terminus–Bandra Terminus Special, will depart from Bhavnagar Terminus at 5:40 pm on Wednesday, September 16, and reach Bandra Terminus at 7:25 am the following day.

The special train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Botad, Dhola, Songadh and Sihor stations in both directions.

The train will comprise AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches. The services will operate on a special-fare basis.

Booking for both trains will open on September 11 at 8 am through Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and the IRCTC website.

Additionally, 14 trips of the Dadar–Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Superfast AC Special train will be operated. The train will depart from Dadar at 12:15 am every Thursday from October 15 to November 26, 2026, and reach Nizamuddin at 9:35 pm the same day.

In the return direction, the train will depart from Nizamuddin at 11:45 pm every Tuesday from October 13 to November 24, 2026, and reach Dadar at 10:40 pm the following day.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Gangapur City, Mathura and Kosi Kalan stations.
