30 Electric AC Buses Rolled Out in Gandhinagar Under PM eBus Sewa

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Saturday inaugurated 30 new electric buses under the PM-eBus Sewa initiative in Gandhinagar and presented development projects worth Rs 1,848 crore for the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation.
Patel also travelled as a common passenger on one of the newly inaugurated e-buses along with Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, Gandhinagar MLAs, the Mayor and other municipal office-bearers.
After flagging off the buses for public service, Patel and Sanghavi travelled together from the inauguration venue to the Ministers’ Residential Complex, experiencing the e-bus service firsthand.
Minister of State for Urban Development Darshna Vaghela, Gandhinagar MLAs Rita Patel and Alpesh Thakor, Mayor Mira Patel, Deputy Mayor Natuji Thakor, Standing Committee Chairman Gaurang, other municipal office-bearers, Gandhinagar BJP President Dr Ashish Dave and former mayors also accompanied them during the ride.
