GSRTC launches new AC buses from Ahmedabad to Ujjain, Shirdi

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has introduced new AC seater bus services from Ahmedabad to the pilgrimage destinations of Ujjain and Shirdi, providing passengers with additional direct travel options.

The services have been operational since last week. The Ahmedabad–Ujjain bus departs daily from Gitamandir at 7:00 PM, travelling via Godhra, Dahod and Indore before reaching Ujjain. The fare from Ahmedabad to Ujjain is around ₹1,181. The return service departs from Ujjain at 5:40 PM daily.

Similarly, the new Ahmedabad–Shirdi AC seater service departs from Nehrunagar at 7:00 AM daily and travels via Surat, Saputara and Nashik. The fare is around ₹1,289, while the return bus leaves Shirdi at 10:00 AM daily.

The new services are expected to offer greater convenience to passengers travelling to the two major pilgrimage destinations. Advance bookings can be made through the official GSRTC website, mobile app and online counters at ST bus stations. DeshGujarat
