Gujarat Government Appoint / Transfers 10 IPS and SPS Officers

Gandhinagar, September 18: The Gujarat Government on Friday issued a notification transferring and appointing 10 IPS/SPS officers with immediate effect. While four IPS officers were appointed as Assistant Superintendents of Police, six State Police Service (SPS) officers were transferred.

The orders issued by the Home Department include the appointment of four IPS officers as Assistant Superintendents of Police and the transfer of six SPS officers to vacant ex-cadre posts in the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF).

The transfers and appointments are as follows:

• Mansi R. Meena, IPS (GJ:2023) has been appointed Assistant Superintendent of Police, Viramgam Division, Ahmedabad district.
• Mausam Harshadbhai Mehta, IPS (GJ:2023) has been appointed Assistant Superintendent of Police, Deodar Division, Vav-Tharad district.
• Prakhar Kumar, IPS (GJ:2024) has been appointed Assistant Superintendent of Police, Khambhalia Division, Devbhumi Dwarka district.
• Karankumar Mansukhbhai Panna, IPS (GJ:2024) has been appointed Assistant Superintendent of Police, Limkheda Division, Dahod district.
• J.I. Vasava, SPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (North), Vadodara City, has been transferred and appointed Commandant, SRPF Group-9, Vadodara.
• D.M. Chauhan, SPS, Superintendent of Police, Visnagar, Mehsana district, has been transferred and appointed Commandant, SRPF Group-3, Madana, Banaskantha district.
• Prakashkumar Vishnuprasad Rayal, SPS, Commandant (Assistant Commandant), SRPF Group-15, ONGC, Mehsana, has been transferred and appointed Commandant, SRPF Group-4, Pavdi, Dahod district.
• B.L. Desai, SPS, Superintendent of Police, Head Quarter, Panchmahal, Godhra, has been transferred and appointed Commandant, SRPF Group-5, Godhra.
• H.P. Doshi, SPS, Superintendent of Police, Police Training Centre, Chowkey, Sorath, Junagadh, has been transferred and appointed Commandant, SRPF Group-13, Rajkot.
• L.B. Zala, SPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, F-Division, Surat City, has been transferred and appointed Commandant, SRPF Group-11, Vav, Surat district.

The order, issued by the Gujarat Home Department on September 18, 2026, states that the appointments and transfers have been made in public interest with immediate effect. DeshGujarat
