IITGN, Gujarat ATS ink MoU to boost security technology and research

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Thursday signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Gandhinagar (IIT-Gn) to promote advanced research, technological innovation, capacity building and professional development in the security sector.
The collaboration aims to build a stronger ecosystem for safety and technology by combining the ATS’s field expertise with IIT-Gn’s research and academic capabilities.
“For us, this partnership is about taking research and technology beyond the laboratory and connecting it with real-world needs. Gujarat ATS brings valuable domain expertise and practical challenges, while IIT Gandhinagar can contribute through its research, technology and academic capabilities to solve critical security issues,” said Prof Rajat Moona, Director of IIT-Gn.
The partnership is expected to facilitate joint efforts in developing technology-driven solutions to address critical security challenges. DeshGujarat
