Mother Dairy sets up first butter chiplet manufacturing line in Junagadh

Junagadh: Mother Dairy has commissioned its first dedicated butter chiplet manufacturing line at its existing milk processing facility in Junagadh, with an annual production capacity of 550 tonnes.

Located in the Gandhigram area of Junagadh district, the facility operates as Junagadh Dairy under Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt Ltd.

The investment comes as Mother Dairy expands its product portfolio with the introduction of 10-gram butter chiplets, a single-serve format designed to offer greater convenience to consumers. The new format is also expected to help the company expand its presence in the packaged butter segment.

With the new line, Mother Dairy now has a dedicated domestic manufacturing base for butter chiplets and plans to supply the product to markets across the country from its Gujarat facility. DeshGujarat
