Biker dies after colliding with stray cattle in Valsad

Valsad: A 24-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with stray cattle near the Hanuman Temple in Rentlav of Pardi taluka.

The deceased, identified as Manu Bhawar from Matuniya village in Kaprada taluka, worked as a labourer. He was riding his motorcycle when he reportedly failed to spot the cattle on the road due to the darkness. His motorcycle then collided with the animal, causing him to fall and suffer serious injuries.

He was rushed to a hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.

The incident has once again highlighted the persistent problem of stray cattle on roads in Valsad. The death has left local residents in shock and triggered anger over the issue.

According to locals, repeated representations have been made to the authorities to address the stray cattle menace and impound the animals. However, residents claim that the problem has not been permanently resolved.
