Few Western Railway trains affected due to Shamlaji – New Modasa rail line work

Ahmedabad: Western Railway’s Ahmedabad division has announced changes to the operation of some trains due to non-interlocking work at Shamlaji Yard in connection with the Shamlaji-New Modasa new railway line.

The work involves inserting a crossover between Line Nos. 2 and 3 at Shamlaji Yard. As a result, four trains will be partially cancelled on specific dates, while one MEMU service will be regulated.

The Kota-Asarva Express (19822) will remain partially cancelled between Udaipur and Asarva on September 29 and October 2. The Asarva-Kota Express (19821) will be partially cancelled between Asarva and Udaipur on September 30 and October 3.

Similarly, Kanpur-Asarva Special (01905) will remain partially cancelled between Udaipur and Asarva on September 28 and October 5, while Asarva-Kanpur Special (01906) will be partially cancelled between Asarva and Udaipur on September 29 and October 6.

Meanwhile, Asarva-Chittorgarh MEMU (69243) will be regulated for one hour en route on October 4 and 5.
