TARIL gets large GETCO order for transformers, shunt reactors

Ahmedabad: Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) has received a large order from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) for the manufacture and supply of 500 MVA auto transformers and 80 MVAR and 125 MVAR shunt reactors, along with related works.
The order is scheduled to be executed over a period of 24 to 30 months, the company said.
The order includes high-capacity transmission equipment and adds to TARIL’s ongoing business in India’s power transmission sector.
TARIL Managing Director and CEO Satyen Mamtora said the order reflects GETCO’s confidence in the company’s manufacturing and engineering capabilities and will strengthen its participation in transmission infrastructure projects.
The company said it continues to focus on expanding its manufacturing, technology and engineering capabilities to meet the requirements of the power transmission sector. DeshGujarat
