Few Gujarat–Mumbai trains affected by platform construction at Bandra Terminus

Mumbai: Four trains from Gujarat to Mumbai will terminate at Borivali instead of Bandra Terminus on October 12, 13, 15 and 16 due to platform construction work at Bandra Terminus, according to Western Railway. Passengers travelling to Bandra Terminus on these services will have to make alternative arrangements for the onward journey from Borivali.

The temporary change has been necessitated by construction work at Bandra Terminus and restrictions on train stabling during the work. The affected services originate from Bhuj, Valsad and Bhanvad.

The trains affected are the Bhuj–Bandra Terminus service (09038) on October 12, the Valsad–Bandra Terminus service (09018) on October 13, another Bhuj–Bandra Terminus service (09012) on October 15, and the Bhanvad–Bandra Terminus service (09006) on October 16.

Passengers have been advised to check the latest train schedules and operational updates through Western Railway’s official announcements or authorised railway information channels before commencing their journey.

Those travelling to Bandra, Khar, Santacruz and other parts of Mumbai will need to arrange onward transport from Borivali, using suburban trains, buses, taxis or other available modes. Passengers should account for additional travel time and costs while planning their journeys.

The temporary diversion of the terminating point is intended to accommodate construction activity and operational constraints at Bandra Terminus. No change has been listed for October 14 in the information provided.
