Freight Trolley Falls After Cargo Ropeway Cable Snaps at Pavagadh

Pavagadh: A cable snapped on a freight ropeway operated by Usha Breco at Pavagadh, causing a trolley loaded with construction materials to fall and collide with a pole. No casualties were reported, although the trolley and its cargo were damaged.
Additional District Collector K. K. Patel said the incident occurred while materials were being transported at a construction site. The situation is under control, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the cable failure.

Authorities clarified that the incident involved only the freight ropeway used to transport materials. The passenger ropeway used by pilgrims and tourists remains unaffected and is operating normally. Visitors have been urged not to believe rumours circulating on social media.
