Gujarat Govt Announces 2% DA Hike for GSRTC Employees

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has approved a 2% increase in dearness allowance (DA) for Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) employees, taking the DA rate to 60%. Employees will also receive arrears for the additional allowance.
Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi announced the decision in a post on X, stating that employee welfare remains a priority for the state government.
“A 2% increase in the dearness allowance (DA) for the corporation’s hardworking employees has been approved, taking the DA rate to 60%. Employees will also receive arrears for the additional dearness allowance. I wholeheartedly welcome this employee-welfare initiative of the Gujarat government,” he said.
