Railway authorities acted on a complaint received through X from the Mumbai division’s Divisional Security Control Room (DSCR). The police traced Shaikh and apprehended him in the Limbayat-Udhna area.
During questioning, he reportedly admitted to making the video for entertainment and uploading it to Instagram and YouTube. Although the reel carried a disclaimer warning viewers against impersonating railway officials, it also showed him exchanging money with passengers.
The railway police registered a case against Shaikh for allegedly trespassing on railway premises, impersonating a TTE and creating a nuisance. DeshGujarat
