India Industrial Fair Udyam 2026 Begins in Gandhinagar; Gujarat CM Inaugurates 4-Day Expo

Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Friday inaugurated the 15th India Industrial Fair, ‘Udyam 2026’, organised by Laghu Udyog Bharati at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar. The four-day event, being held from October 23 to 26, brings together more than 500 exhibitors from over 12 sectors to showcase industrial products, technologies and innovations.

Spread across 50,000 square metres, the exhibition brings together businesses from across the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) ecosystem, covering sectors ranging from engineering and manufacturing to handicrafts. It aims to provide a common platform for MSMEs, startups, manufacturers and technology innovators to explore business opportunities and build partnerships.

The fair features business networking opportunities, investment discussions, expert-led mentorship sessions and industrial technology presentations. It also facilitates business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) meetings to encourage collaboration between enterprises and government bodies.

Organised by Laghu Udyog Bharati, the fair aims to promote MSMEs, entrepreneurship and innovation while supporting the objectives of the Centre’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India’ initiatives.

Following the inauguration, Patel visited various stalls at the exhibition. Several office-bearers of Laghu Udyog Bharati and representatives of industrial and social organisations attended the event, including national organisation secretary Prakashchandraji, former national president and Gujarat chapter in-charge Ghanshyamji Ojha, Gujarat chapter president Ishwarbhai Patel and general secretary Hansrajbhai Gajera.

Other attendees included Dr Bharatbhai Patel, joint provincial coordinator of the RSS Gujarat chapter; Mukeshbhai Malkan, Saurashtra chapter Sanghchalak; and industrial sector representatives Rajna Kakkar and Sunil Bhati. DeshGujarat
