Holiday Inn Resort to Come Up in Sasan Gir

Gujarat: IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Paix Hospitality LLP to develop Holiday Inn Resort Sasan Gir in Gujarat. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2031, the 92-room resort will strengthen IHG’s presence in Gujarat’s leisure tourism market and introduce branded hospitality to one of India’s prominent wildlife destinations.

Located in Gujarat’s Gir Somnath district, Sasan Gir is renowned as the natural habitat of the Asiatic lion and attracts wildlife enthusiasts, leisure travellers and tourists seeking experiential travel opportunities.

The upcoming Holiday Inn Resort Sasan Gir will offer 92 rooms, including 11 suites, alongside five food and beverage outlets. The property will feature 1,366 sq. m. of meeting and event space across four venues, including a 1,170 sq. m. ballroom.

Additional amenities will include a swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and retail facilities. The resort is being designed to accommodate leisure travellers as well as weddings, social gatherings and celebrations.
