New 10-machine Kidney dialysis center opens at Lions Ognaj hospital in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: A new kidney dialysis center was opened today at Ognaj near Ahmdabad by Chief Minister Rupani.
The dialysis center has been set up by Lions Club in cooperation with the State Bank of India.
State Bank of India(SBI) has donated Rs 98 lakh for 10 latest dialysis machines in this center. There has been memorandum of understanding(MoU) between Lions Club and SBI that wherever Lions Club would open such centers, SBI will extend its support.
The hospital at Ognaj already provides affordable treatment to poor and middle class. It has blood bank and Shantaben Patel Eye hospital also. Donors who donated Rs 2.22 crore for this center were honored along with SBI CGM Mr. Nautiyal by Chief Minister.
Nautiyal in his address said that SBI spends 2% of its annual profit for upliftment of deprived people.
FICCI president and Zydus Chairman Pankaj Patel was honored with humanitarian award on this occasion.
