Chaos, scuffle in AAP workers meet, allegations of corruption against Gujarat team

Gandhinagar: The workers meet of Aam Admi Party here was marred by chaos and shouting by some party activists alleging corruption in ticket distribution for the upcoming Guajrat Assembly polls due to be held by December this year.
Some activists started shouting about the alleged corruption in the process of ticket distribution process.
Amid pandemonium and scuffle between some activists, several of them alleged that the Gujarat team of the party including its state head Kanu Kalsaria and in-charge Gulab Yadav were indulged in corruption and were collecting money for finalizing the name of the candidates.
One party worker from Junagadh said that it was really painful to see that the party which started its journey against corruption and for revival of democratic values has itself got mired in corruption.
‘The Gujarat team including Kalsaria and in-charge Gulab Yadav are doing it. A ticket has been finalized for the son of a BJP leader, what else can be the proof of this corruption,’ he claimed adding that they were protesting so that the irregularity and corruption is highlighted and its report reaches to Kejriwal.
The meeting held in Satyagrah Chhavni ground of sector 6 here had already lost much of its seen as in a last minute move, Kejriwal chose to abstain from it citing being occupied in the wake of Delhi municipal elections.
The meeting was held to discuss poll strategy and organizational issues. Both Kalsaria and Yadav were present in the meeting presided over by Delhi Minister Gopal Rai.
