Ahmedabad: Congress MLA Gyasuddin Sheikh was offered garland of shoes in his constituency area during Rath Yatra held against ‘price rise.’

One who offered garland of shoes to Gyasuddin was identified as Sadiq Sheikh.

The yatra was passing through Shahpur Adda area in the afternoon on Wednesday with supporters of Sheikh on bikes.

The MLA thanked Sadiq Sheikh for offering him garland of shoes.

Sheikh alleged that one who had offered him garland of shoes was running a gambling den which was shut down by him in response to complains received by local people. If such person offers me garland of shoes, that’s good for me, Sheikh said.
