Unidentified miscreants torch ST bus near Dhoraji in Gujarat

Amid the caste violence in neighbouring Maharashtra, unidentified miscreants today burnt a ST bus near Dhoraji town in Rajkot district.
Police said that around half a dozen unidentified people stopped a bus of Rajkot-Upleta route near Bhukhi crossing of Dhoraji posing as passenger and then forced the over 30 passenger to come out and burnt the bus pouring kerosene and patrol over it.
The driver of the bus going to Upleta, Atulbhai said that when he tried to take the bus away some of the miscreants attacked him and snatched the key.
Meanwhile, it was not yet clear as to who was responsible for the incident and whether it has any links with protests with regard to Maharashtra incident.
Police was trying to nab the culprits.
