Anti Padmaavat protesters attack ST bus in Rajput dominant area of North Gujarat, driver and a few passengers injured

Palanpur:
Anti Padmawat protesters attacked a ST bus near Un village under Thara police station in Banaskantha district.
The bus was partially damaged and a few passengers and driver sustained minor injuries but the attempt to torch the bus was averted.
Police said that the bus going from here to Bhuj in Kutch district was attacked by a group of people in a Rajput dominat locality which falls under Kankrej Taluka.
The front glasses of the bus were damaged but the driver despite injury took the bus to the Thara police station premises and saved it from being torched by the mob.
PSI of Thara police station A K Bharwad said that the matter was under investigation.
